Texting and Driving and Forever

This is a powerful short documentary.

Is it possible for us to think back to 1990-something?  When somehow we made it to meetings and on trips without having to update folks on our exact whereabouts or our every thought?

Since I can’t bring myself to say ‘I’, I’ll say ‘we’.  Is anything we have to say ever so urgent?

If you need suggestions on the benefits of not texting and driving, check this old post from the archives.

It’s obviously a serious issue that I and everybody need to be aware of. Our offices have moved to our vehicles. As a matter of fact, our work spaces and our communications and personal media spaces have become so ubiquitous that we don’t know where one place stops and the other starts.

Is there a way to inch backwards a little in this? Or is it inevitable?
